*Postponed, will open up for booking when I have a new date*
Two day needle felting workshop learning to make wired armature animals.
10am-4pm each day
Creates Gallery, Church Street Monmouth. Please note we are up a flight of stairs.
You can choose to pay the full amount, or a deposit of £50 and pay the remainder up to a month beforehand. *Use the code NoPost so you don’t pay shipping costs*
All materials, equipment, drinks and a delicious lunch provided. They cater for gluten free, vegan, and I will send you a copy of the menu beforehand if you'd like to see.
You’ll make an animal of your choice undying a skeleton wire frame and building up on top of that so you have a fully poseable animal in the correct proportions. The way I teach means you will learn the skills to make any other creature and develop your own style. This is a great masterclass for those who have done a bit of felting before but also suitable for complete beginners if you are up for a bit of a challenge!
Please let me know before the workshop what animal you would like to make. if you aren't sure, I would recommend a hare as covering most techniques.
Small group, maximum of 8 so you get plenty of attention.
The Gallery venue also do b&b if you are travelling and would like to stay over. Ask me for details.
*Please note the cancellation policy*
2 day needle-felting workshop Monmouth
*Full refund if cancelled up to a month before the date of the workshop.
*1 month -2 weeks before the date: a full refund if I can sell your place to someone else, or a partial refund of half the workshop cost if I can't.
*1 week or less before the workshop, no refund available unless I can fill your place. I may be able to offer a discount on a creature or a future workshop depending on the circumstances, as a good will gesture so message me if you find you have to cancel for the last minute for unforseen circumstances and would like one of these.
I have up front costs that I have to pay in advance of workshops such as venue hire, refreshments, travel etc. These are calculated based on a certain number of people coming to the workshop. I still have to pay those costs if someone cancels at the last minute. I also have bank transaction charges to pay on refunding payments hence the cancellation policy. I could end up 100s of pounds out of pocket on a workshop if people cancel close to the event and want their full money back so I hope you understand this. Sometimes I can give more depending on the particular workshop and costs and I will always do my best to help and refund peopleas much as I can, where I can. Thank you.
