In the Back of Bertram Likes to Sew, he shows you how to make a little simple teddy. One of my friends has one in her pocket as an emergency bear for when someone needs a hug. As we can't give bear hugs in person just now, I thought we could maybe send an emergency bear to our loved ones to either make themselves, to give them something to do, or you could make it and send to someone yourself. It would be a lovely gift for children with the book too. I am doing a slightly smaller cheaper version just now to the usual kit that goes with the book as I can't get some of the supplies for the usual one such as the cotton bag. I also need it to be flat enough to go in the letter box. I know money is tight for many so wanted to offer a smaller cheaper thing. The wool comes in different colours, I will add one in randomly depending on what I have. It is 100% pure wool felt tested for safety for toys so safe for young children. Kit contains (wrapped in tissue paper): Piece of felt pattern for teddy and basic instructions sheep wool stuffing embroidery thread for sewing Postcard of Bertram. I can also send a sharp sewing needle if you need one. Just ask in the options. If you want it sent to someone else, put their name and address in the shipping address box. I can write a note on the postcard, just tell me in the box what to write. Links nicely to Bertram Likes to Sew book, for a bigger gift.
