USA customers: Trump has put tariffs on goods from the UK but luckily my creatures and books are exempt, so you won’t be charged a tariff for those. There is a handling fee by the carriers to process this so there’ll be a 1% ‘handling charge’ on each order. All other items have a tariff charge on them but as I can’t do tariffs for some items and not others yet, I will pay it myself!
If purchasing more than one animal in a package, you may be overcharged shipping due to the listing requirements not matching your system, but I will refund you the extra when processing the order.
POSTAGE AND PACKING
My packaging is now plastic free and recyclable/compostable. It might cost me a little more, but it is worth it for the planet.
I wrap books/cards in paper bags, and animal sculptures are popped in their own little natural cotton drawstring bag, with some travelling choklit and a thank you bookmark and postcard. I then pack in tissue and add a little seasonal handmade gift.
Print to order merch is sent direct from the printers, not gift wrapped but they are also plastic free.
I usually post out next day from ordering and you can choose either tracked 24 or tracked 48 with Royal Mail. You can request a handwritten card in the notes when ordering if sending direct to someone else.
Current UK postage costs:
Large letter £2/£3/£3.90 depending weight 48/24
Small Parcel: £3.90/£4.60 TR48/24
Tribe members teapot/teacake level get free parcel shipping over £30
USA postage costs £12-36 depending on weight. If you order all my books the weight will tip it up to £36-£45 shipping costs. A single animal is generally approx £20 If you buy more than one animal it will overcharge you shipping but I will refund the extra paid when I fulfil your order. Most items are tariff free but there is a carrier admin charge so you will be charged an extra 1% handling fee as part of the shipping costs. A few items have 10% tariff but I will pay those myself so you won’t get any extra charges once you’ve paid on my website.
If you only want books and not bothered about signed/dedicated copies/postcards etc you can order direct from my publishers to get free post on orders over £20 Use the code SENDMEJOY
Returns: I can’t accept returns for dedicated books or personalised printed items unless faulty. Faulty goods you’ll get a full refund or a replacement or if an animal, I can fix it for you if you prefer. Email me with a photo of the damage and we’ll work out the best course of action depending on if a book/animal/mug etc.
If you just change your mind, you can return to me for a refund of the cost of the item, minus postage costs and bank fees as I get charged those even if I cancel your order. You will need to pay return postage.
It is just me in the shed, not a big business, I don’t add on costs to cover such things.
Thanks!
