The Solstice Hare
She gathered the Sun, Moon and her heart to take to her love. The Solstice Hare is running towards Imbolc. Straddling the Winter and Spring, she carried a handmade pine needle basket containing a copper heart cast from a poppy seed head section, an honesty moon and a dried flower sun that is slowly opening in the basket! She also wears a fragment of a silver snowflake round her neck.
The arctic hare is needle felted over a wire armature, so can be posed a little (though she is attached to a wooden base). Her fur is the softest wool and her ears are tinged with the northern lights. She stands at approx 33cm high including the wooden base. One of a kind beauty to grace your room, or to give to a love.
